Leaving her school after dropping off my daughter, I noticed some “safety patrol” kids attempting to shut the heavy outside door on each others’ heads.

Safe? I wonder. Fun? No doubt.

Don’t you sometimes just want to drag her out of there to protect her from the general stupidity of the world? I do.

Ronald McDonald makes the rounds to public schools. I don’t even CARE what he says or how he says it, it just doesn’t seem right to me. In fact I’d love to home school her except I like her to be around other kids…We can’t win I guess. But, yeah, I know what you mean.
