For that matter, we aren't even tough on her about report cards. We don't expect straight A's from her. B's are nice, and we appreciate them. C's we tolerate and encourage her to do better next time. Strict, huh? Maybe she's readying herself for some future instance of uncharacteristic parental harshness on my part. I just don't get it. Here’s the kicker:
